DirtBoy is a Bad Kid, refusing to bathe or groom himself, who has just escaped the Bad Kid Zoo – a place reserved for only the worst of the worst Bad Kids. DirtBoy is being pursued by Good Kid, Little Janie Peterson, also known as PetGirl. PetGirl is a zoo keeper determined to return this foul lad back to the Bad Kid Zoo. While on the run, DirtBoy falls into the company of a future Bad Kid, Sparky. DirtBoy struggles to teach Sparky to temper his bad tendencies before he too ends up in the Bad Kid Zoo. At the same time he uses his dirt powers to keep himself from being captured and returned to the Zoo.
