Daughter of Science meets Daughter of Religion in “Jenna Meets 100 Girls” Crossover
Sylvia Mark is a product of science, a thirteen-year-old girl who, as a result of genetic experiments, has some pretty amazing super-powers.
Jenna is a spawn of Hell, the antichrist born in the form of a 19-year-old girl.
Now these two characters will meet for the first time in Narwain Publishing’s “Jenna Meets 100 Girls.”
After retrieving a mysterious book, which may hold the answers to her destiny, Jenna hopes for a little peace and quiet to try and read the darned thing! Unfortunately, peace and quiet isn’t on the menu. A mysterious, super-powered warrior who is looking for Sylvia (who helped Jenna get the book in the first place) attacks her and her friend, Hall. There's something oddly familiar about the warrior, but Jenna may not survive to figure out what it is.
“It’s fun to have Sylvia interact in a different world from her own. Especially a magical one,” says Sean O’Reilly, Editor in Chief at Arcana Studios, publishers of the regular ‘100 Girls’ comic. “Magic is something that isn’t normally in the world of ‘100 Girls’ which is a pure sci-fi book.”
The crossover is being created by regular ‘100 Girls’ team of writer Adam Gallardo and artist Todd Demong.
“Todd Demong's art is going to be kick-ass,” exclaims O’Reilly. “As far as the story goes, it's full of action, which Sylvia seems to be pretty good at.”
“Jenna Meets 100 Girls #1” is 32 full color pages for $3.49 USD. You’ll find it on page 310 of the March Diamond Previews catalog.
