July 11, 2005 – WORLD-WIDE – Living up to their New Year’s pledge to take 2005 by storm, FC9 Publishing has garnered attention with their diverse line of comics and original graphic novels. Taking the time to find the right talent and properly develop their properties has paid off for this young publisher with such series as HELL, MICHIGAN and GENIE and the trade paperback collection of NIGHTMARE WORLD. Continuing in the San Diego Countdown, International Enterprise is proud to represent FC9’s diverse titles to publishers and markets all over the world.
FC9 does not intend to adopt a stereotype of only being able to publish one specific type of book, and it shows in the varied genres and styles of their lead-off titles. Publisher Tilman Goins has made quality books their mission, and looks forward to FC9’s properties garnering as much interest in the foreign language market as they have here in the U.S.
Strange things are happening in HELL, MICHIGAN, written by Dan Jolley with full-color artwork by Clint Hilinski. Few can resist the temptations around them and actually realize the horror occurring in the small town. It is up to those few strong-willed souls to save who they can, for as the population dwindles, the town of Hell’s power grows…The first story-arc of this chilling horror series is contained in the first four issues, and are now available through International Enterprise.
Genies have the magical ability to grant three wishes to the lucky person to find them. Three chances to change anything about yourself or even change the world itself. Legend has it a Djinn would grant all this power to any person who freed them, but it's just a myth...Or is it? Issues #1-4 of GENIE are written by Jim Keplinger with illustrations by award-winner Eliseu (ZEU) Gouveia and covers by David Michael Beck, Juan Ferreyra, Clint Hilinski and others! Genie is already getting attention internationally, as Eliseu (ZEU) Gouveia has won numerous comic awards in Portugal.
NIGHTMARE WORLD: "KNEE DEEP IN THE DEAD" AND OTHER TALES OF TERROR features thirteen stand-alone stories written by Aaron Weisbrod and illustrated by a host of amazing established and up-and-coming artists. Featuring an introduction by the legendary BRIAN (LADY DEATH, Chaos Comics) PULIDO, this 96-page full color trade paperback is the book fans of mature, intelligent horror have been waiting for all over the world, and now available through International Enterprise.
FC9 planned to not go unnoticed in the comics world in 2005, and are now in need of a new goal. With the foreign licensing rights to HELL, MICHIGAN #1-4, GENIE #1-4 and the NIGHTMARE WORLD TPB represented through the promotions of International Enterprise, this is now the year FC9 goes international.
